Animal trails in water
Crawling along
For unknown persons.
To see and be amazed at.
Most float over
missing the amazement of an activity by an equally unknown
animal.
The few that see the trail in the water have the most
enjoyable day.
Smart children make challenging projects for teachers
that puzzle out hidden jems of their works.
Listening to words spoken out loud
Spoken from the diaphragm
Rich but soft
Leading to trembling music that reaches deep into our bones.
We love the evening of our words, sentences, and stories.
The night of blues, song after song-
We could live here.
